What is the Political Courage Test?

Colorado State Legislative Election 2022 Political Courage Test

Pro-life a) Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
No b) Do you support legalizing abortion when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
Yes c) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
I call on science to end the debate with an artificial womb. Rape & incest cases need to be weighed in context. Court ordered vasectomies for repeat offenders would taper the rape-abortion subtopic. https://youtu.be/3bP64x6ivkI
No a) In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions?
No b) DO you support raising taxes on any income or on any entity, to promote economic growth?
I propose additional revenue generating mechanisms to grow our economy such as longterm Destination-event contracts, (Olympics, MLB, NASCAR, IBL, Movie DNA, more) and the complete restructuring our schools including age-restriction affecting adult status and more. This is much more than a basic accounting question, whereby one topic touches another. Imagine grade school with 4:1 student teacher ratios and hybrid home & locally controlled grade school campuses with star teachers and amazing support for grades 1 - 16, end result being college included. Certificates and Associates degrees upon graduation. Nat'l funding, County control. $ follows student.
Yes a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes b) Should an individual under 18 accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?
Yes c) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
Yes d) Do you support the use of private prisons?
No e) Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders?
Folks, the litmus for these questions must change. The death penalty is not cruel to a murderer who knows Christ. If our legal adult age is lowered, the context of "18" changes. New and Dual Americans: choose a State where you commit to Taxes for ongoing work in the US. Failure to pay = come back when you're ready to pay. Adequately staff enforcement. The 21st century is ready for private prisons. Non violent drug offenders seek oppty and counseling, not decades behind bars. Repeat offenders should be deported from the State.
Yes a) Do you support state government spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes b) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector?
Yes c) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage of Colorado?
No d) Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19?
Yes e) Do you support the creation of a task force to combat the housing shortage in Colorado?
a) My pro movie making licensing program is this. Every major success story in America came from a govt grant or a rebellious act. Prohibition funded presidents Kennedy and Reagan. My bill gives the Arts centerpoints to launch careers by ideas, repaying principalities by profit. Star Wars & the Godfather transformed San Francisco. March Madness TV $ upgraded many small towns. b) GOP policy is that govt needs to "get off our backs." Taxation needs to end. Nonprofit innovation is capable of delivering the American Dream to all. Min wage will always rise.
No a) Do you support adopting federal education standards in Colorado?
No b) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
Yes c) Do you support increasing teacher salaries AND/OR benefits in Colorado?
No d) Should immigrants unlawfully present in the United States who graduate from Colorado high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
My high school was mostly illegals in 1991. Clinton's version of NAFTA was devastating to us. Under my plan, (developed for private industry), teachers will be paid as "rock stars". End State Board of Ed. End the role of Principals. End most administrative roles. Federal funding, local control. Online-home-campus hybrids change campus-destinations. Year-round school, through grade 16, legal adult age lowered. Make college free. Military eligibility at 15, driving age @ 14. Empower the next generation sooner. Eliminate the term "teenager". Imagine your New America.
Yes a) Do you support state funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No b) Do you support government regulations of greenhouse gas emissions?
Yes c) Do you support increasing state funding for clean drinking water initiatives?
My answers are going to seem lopsided at first glance. Water: Thunderheart is unacceptable. Shame on the US for forcing people to reside where the water is fatal. Green companies: welcome to the free market. Profit as much as you can. Renewable energy changes form often. Give innovators every oppty to produce usable energy asap. I want to fix the market to reduce gas prices to under 35 cents/gal.
No a) Do you support the regulation of campaign contributions from corporations, unions, and individuals?
No b) Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting?
Yes c) Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls?
No d) Do you support automatic voter registration?
Welcome back to the confusion of the 18th century. Try to keep up. ;) Auto voter reg includes dead people. Photo ID along with mail-in is an ideal protocol. How? I wish I knew. Redistricting is a farce. No matter how the lines are drawn, we still have to win the hearts of the people. Contributions: every candidate faces an equilibrium of resources. Jeb Bush set the record for personal money spent to lose to Trump in 2016. I might set the record for least to win in 2022. ;)
No a) Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
Yes b) Should background checks be required on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
Yes c) Should a license be required for gun ownership?
Mental Health Evaluations should be mandatory for all first-time gun purchases and if a person has been recently seen by a psychiatrist. The 2nd Amendment is sacred. But some jerks should not own or have access to a gun. I refuse to pre-punish NRA members for the actions of the few. 2nd Amendment includes nonlethal weapons. I support educators with tasers & mace. https://youtu.be/2-esjDFasPs
Yes a) Should the state government increase funding for treatment facilities to combat opioid abuse?
Yes b) Do you support a government-run (single-payer) healthcare program such as Medicare-for All?
Yes c) Should an individual have the right to choose to die through euthanasia?
No d) Do you support eliminating religious exemptions for vaccinations?
Yes e) Do you support expanding paid family AND/OR medical leave opportunities?
Yes f) Do you support lowering the cost of prescription drugs?
My answers will require a brief jog into the supernatural. I am unapologetic of my belief in Jesus Christ. I believe babies have the right to enter this world, and aged people, or people in immense terminally ill pain have the right to enter the next world. Religious freedom should have protections and consequences. Medicare should be a temporary safety net for all as we end our duel with the greedy evil malpractice insurance industry once and for all. Drug recovery will only get more expensive to overcome as we strengthen other areas that lead to addiction.
No a) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Colorado's anti-discrimination laws?
No b) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Colorado's anti-discrimination laws?
No c) Do you support greater efforts by Colorado's state government in closing gender, racial and other wage gaps?
I'm penalized every day for being caucasian, male and a Cubs fan. I was married 13 years to a woman who was hired by a school district only because she was a woman, considered cheaper than hiring a man. I asked her if she preferred having no job at all? I couldn't get hired at the same job, considered too expensive and dubbed "overqualified". The "gap" is a double edged sword.
Pro licensing for movie makers including start up SBA-style grants/loan asset funding, forcing the schools to provide mandatory cinema editing coursework (visual sign language). Lic free to degree holders. Repeal SB 217, rewrite, reconsider. Restore fear of God in our police force. Reduce time on job for increased pensions. Enforce panhandling - make pro vagrants life very inconvenient. Possession of a shopping cart off-lot a felony. Gift-giving in-traffic (medians) & Help signs a misdemeanor. Repeal RHEA, call on congress to fund an Artificial Womb. Protect Mommy & Baby.
Pro licensing for movie makers including start up SBA-style grants/loan asset funding, forcing the schools to provide mandatory cinema editing coursework (visual sign language) to satisfy licensing requirements. Lic free to degree holders. The Dept of Economic development has already allocated the funding through Tourism aka Film Commissions. We just have to command that money to this purpose. This result will be like Alaska's surplus of $ when gold was discovered.
